Provides dog (and/or wildlife in some cases) control services for the Town of Brunswick.
Provides psychological consultations and evaluations through interviewing, assessments, testing, and observation by a psychologist. Services include academic assessments, memory testing, court-ordered mental health evaluations, and assessments for emotional, behaviors, adaptive, social, and intellectual functioning.
Monitors new building conditions and construction and oversees the maintenance of older multi-family structures. Enforces the state and local building codes and housing standards and ordinances. Reviews applications for permits of new buildings, repairs, alterations, signs, and rooming houses. Accepts complaints from tenants about conditions the landlord fails to resolve.
Provides peer mediation to help train and equip youth to approach conflict resolution peacefully through skills such as active listening. Offers mediation services for youth that may include but is not limited to student/teacher conflicts, conflicts between students or with their parents, special education issues, and issues that may involve absenteeism or attendance with school.
Provides government services to residents of New York State.
Partners with State agencies to offer workforce recruitment and placement services, including developing minimum qualifications, classifying positions, developing civil service examinations, and adminstering performance assessment tests.
Veterans group meets monthly.
