Consumer Directed Choices
Provides infrastructure and support services for people with disabilities and the elderly (or their designated representative) who choose to use an alternative to the "traditional" model of home care provided through a nursing agency. Offers consumers the ability to recruit, hire, train, supervise and terminate his/her worker. Facilitates payroll, benefits, Workers' Compensation, NYS Disability, etc, bills Medicaid, and communication between consumers and local County Department of Social Services.
