Domestic Violence Education and Outreach
Provides ongoing training and technical assistance through trainings, in-services, and conferences and through regular contact with advocates and stakeholders addressing issues such as funding, legislation, program development, service provision, community collaboration, program evaluation, public assistance, immigration, HIV, chemical dependence, mental health, the law and court system, social change, and cultural competency among other issues as they impact victims of domestic violence. Also provides outreach programs and printed materials to educate the public on domestic violence and how to help or prevent this abuse.
