Ghent Town Clerk and Tax Receiver

The Town Clerk issues marriage licenses, birth and death certificates, dog licenses, and hunting and fishing licenses.

Offers a wide range of licensing, records, and informational services to town residents. Licensing and permits include marriage licenses, hunting/fishing/trapping licenses, and dog licenses. Other services include processing requests for birth and death certificates.
  
Prepares and collects property taxes for residents of the Town of Ghent from January through May 31st.  

After May 31st all paperwork goes to the Columbia County Treasurer’s Office.
