Legal Hand Call-In Center of the Capital Region
We provide free legal information, resources, referrals, and help with legal forms to the community over phone, text, and email. Our trained Volunteers work alongside a Center Attorney to ensure all of the help we provide is accurate. Although we can’t provide legal counsel or legal representation, we do everything we can to help our Visitors tackle their legal issue, and if we can’t help directly, we can usually refer to someone who can. We provide assistance on civil legal issues across a wide range of topics: Housing Law, Family Law, Elder/Estate Law, Public Benefits, Immigration, Survivor Services, Employment Law, Consumer Law, as well as Mental Health and General Community Resources.
