Coordinates education and application assistance for SNAP and other federal nutrition assistance programs to help reduce hunger. Contracts through various community-based agencies that can help eligible individuals and households access SNAP benefits, the Summer Food Service Program, and the school meal programs.

Nutrition Program and Services

SLTC Services can answer questions about the home delivered meal (meals-on-wheels) and congregate food sites. Staff is available to answer program questions on the congregate food site locations. Each summer the department manages the distribution of Farmer Market coupons, to eligible seniors over age 60. referrals are available to a registered dietician.
