Caring Connections – Emergency Assistance

Community Services Program

Provides emergency intervention for food, and shelter. Provides access to telephones and internet to assist job and housing searches and to arrange for medical appointments. Coordinates financial assistance for emergency needs with local financial institutions and advocates for families and individuals to receive services.

Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP)

Provides Medicaid eligible individuals with a medical need the opportunity to remain in their homes, direct the care they receive, and choose the person that will be caring for them. Promotes greater flexibility, freedom of choice, and responsibility for the consumer or a designated other to direct their own care.

Culture Arts Recreation and Education (CARE)

Offers enrichment programs and six week Summer camp for youth ages 5 to 12 years and teens ages 15 to 19 years. Some activities include music-dance classes, individual lessons or other opportunities for people who want to learn or perfect their skills in music composition and-or performance, chess instruction and computer instruction.
