Pregnancy Care Assistance Center
St. Mary's Pregnancy Care Assistance Center offers routine pregnancy medical check-ups: lab work and access to specialists: information about pregnancy, labor and delivery, help in applying for other programs such as WIC and low-cost or no-cost health insurance for women and their families, full health care until at least two months after delivery, and health care for baby for at least one year after birth. Women and teens who are pregnant and meet certain income guidelines can receive medical care throughout pregnancy and delivery, and may be eligible even if they have health insurance. The Prenatal Assistance Program is located at the St. Mary's Carondelet Health Center on Guy Park Avenue in Amsterdam. All pregnancy care is confidential.
