Early Head Start/Head Start
Early Head Start offers parents an opportunity for their child to participate in a program designed especially for the very young, ages 6 weeks to 5 years. The children are assessed with the Early Screening Inventory (ESI) at regular landmarks to monitor their development. The program provides comprehensive, quality early childhood education services that support the learning and growth of children. Parents are involved in all aspects of the program to support the child and family in attaining kindergarten readiness skills.
