Home Based Crisis Intervention (HBCI) Program
Provides an in-home crisis intervention service to families with youth between the ages 5 to 7 for 4 to 6 weeks to assist with crisis management, improve family functioning, support families with tools to manage crisis situations, and by building upon the families' natural support systems to create more safety and stability within the home.
Children between the ages 5- 17 years of age in Warren, Washington, or Saratoga Counties who are in psychiatric crisis and are at risk of in patient hospitalization
Referrals are accepted Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Parent/guardian meeting with an HBCI therapist;
At least one adult family member is willing to participate in 4-6 weeks of intense in-home services with identified child;
Child is at-risk for an out-of-home placement or hospitalization
