The Schoharie County ARC Residential Services Program offers a variety of residential alternatives in community based settings.
Providing community living opportunities for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
Offers services to individuals with a disability including wellness and educational classes, group centered supports, individual based supports, volunteer opportunities, relationship building skills, and exploration in music, theater, and art.
Provides an opportunity for participants or their representatives to have decision-making authority over services and take direct responsibility to manage those services, promoting personal choice. This program is Medicaid funded and is OPWDD eligible.
Provides assistance, advocacy, community connections, family linkages and referrals to assist people of all ages in attaining the highest quality of life and to be as independent as possible.
Offers individualized service management to assist individuals and families to identify and access the services and community supports unique to their needs.
Provides support, advocacy, and a partnership with individuals and/or family members to develop, implement and maintain an individuals life plan to live independently.
Offers a sheltered workshop for adults with developmental disabilities. Paid work activities include packaging, assembly and collation of large mailings to light manufacturing. Offers supportive services necessary to maintain employment to participants.
Provides vocational and supported employment services to individuals with disabilities and others in need.
Provides services to individuals with disabilities to search for, obtain, and maintain a job within the community through skill building and supportive services.
