Offers a jail transition program designed to help incarcerated youth ages 17 to 20 years make changes in their lives using a 12 step program model during a four week period. The goal of the program is to remove obstacles to training and employment for young people involved with the criminal justice system.
Assists ex-offenders to identify and access re-entry services such as employment, housing, substance abuse and/or mental health services, securing public benefits, exploring educational and vocation training, and reconnecting with family and the community.
Offers assistance to released released inmates with a disability that are transitioning back into the community. Provides advocacy to help former incarcerated individuals with disabilities find employment, housing, VR services, gain independence living skills, and social supports.
Links offenders and individuals returning from prison with substance abuse, mental health, and ancillary services in order to promote alternatives to incarceration and assist in successful community reintegration.
