Assists older adults 60 years old and over with services and resources to help them maintain the quality of life and independence that they have. Referrals may include health and wellness services, social enrichment activities, advocacy, case management, and home visits.
Offers a juvenile crime prevention program that brings kids and police officers together. Provides educational, recreational, social activities, and athletic programs to more than 2,000 Albany youth each year.
Offers gardening education and information through trained volunteers. Individuals can become a Master Gardener by taking a 10 week course on horticulture.
Offers a blended prevocational and day program that provides employment opportunities through training and specializes in hand assembly projects for businesses and organizations. Individuals enrolled may also learn daily living, social and recreational skills that increase their self-esteem and work ethic. Opportunities program encompasses day prevocational training, job coaching for community employment and volunteer positions.
Offers licensing, records, and informational services to village residents. Maintains birth and death certificates as well as marriage certificates and licenses.
