Protects the lives and property of the community by providing services in the event of fire, medical emergencies, and disasters or any other event which may threaten the public welfare. Offers training programs to cover all aspects of firefighting, fire safety, fire rescue, and other associated first responder skills and techniques.

Provides assistance with resume writing, interview skills, and the career search. Resource room includes access to personal computers, fax machine, and internet access for job search. Offers a resource library contains books, videotapes, and other materials for use by job seekers.
Recruits students motivated to achieve academically who could use additional support and direction to meet their goals. Provides support to 10 students per class in each of the three public city high schools and follows students from 10th grade through college graduation.
Provides training in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, LinkedIn, Indeed, Zoom, Facebook, Instagram, keyboard basics, internet job searching, online interview skills, and online applications.
Provides intensive support and assessment to individuals addressing lifelong patterns of under/unemployment. Offers internships, education/credentialing, job placement, extended job coaching/case management and professional clothing.
Provides comprehensive employment services to men and women with recent criminal convictions. Assists participants regain the skills and confidence needed for successful transitions to stable, productive lives. Offers assistance to anyone with a recent criminal history who wants to work.
Assists individuals when they want to file a discrimination complaint when their civil rights have been violated.
Provides clothing to individuals in need including families with back-to-school clothes, clothes for everyday wear, and clothes for job interviews or on the job.
